Anyone can complete a weekend course and start injecting. These are the practical differences when the person treating you trained in medicine first.
Medication, conditions, allergies and previous treatments are reviewed before anything is decided. Not a form you sign, a conversation that changes what is recommended.
If a treatment will not achieve what you want, or is not right for you, you will hear that plainly. A clinical judgement is worth more than a sale.
Complications are rare, but they need someone who recognises them early and can prescribe. Gemma assesses, prescribes and treats you herself.
In parts of this industry a prescriber signs off treatments for someone they have never seen. That does not happen here.
