Vitamin Injections

B12, biotin, vitamin C, D3 and others, given by a nurse after a health check rather than bought off a shelf. Useful when absorption is the problem, not intake.

Why Have Them Injected

Vitamin injections deliver directly rather than through the gut, which matters if absorption is the problem rather than intake.

They are not a substitute for diet, sleep or medical investigation. If tiredness has a cause worth finding, you will be told to see your GP rather than sold a course of injections.

Every appointment starts with a health check. Some vitamins interact with medication and conditions, which is the reason a nurse gives them rather than a therapist.

A Good Fit If

  • Tiredness that sleep does not fix
  • Low vitamin D through winter
  • Supporting hair and nail condition
  • A busy life and a poor diet

Not The Right Choice If

  • Your tiredness has a cause worth investigating first
  • You are hoping to replace a balanced diet
  • You take medication that has not been reviewed

Your Appointment

Ask Her Anything. She Will Tell You Straight.

  • Will it hurt?
  • Will I bruise?
  • Will I still look like myself?

These are the three that come up most. You get real answers before anything comes out of a packet, and if the honest answer changes what you should have, she will say so.

  1. 01

    The Health Check

Your medical history, medication and what you are hoping for. Some vitamins are not appropriate for everyone.

  2. 02

    The Injection

A quick intramuscular injection, usually in the upper arm. You are in and out inside twenty minutes.

  3. 03

    Afterwards

Keep the area clean and carry on with your day. How often you repeat depends on why you are having it.

  4. 04

    Ready When You Are

Book a consultation and Gemma will assess your skin properly, then tell you honestly what would help.

The Things People Actually Ask

Straight answers to what comes up most before someone books.

Not Sure If It Would Suit You?

Message her on WhatsApp. She answers them herself.

It depends which vitamin and why. This is discussed at your first appointment rather than sold as a fixed course.

Usually not. B12 in particular builds over days rather than hours.

Not always, but if your symptoms suggest something worth investigating you will be advised to see your GP.

That is exactly what the health check is for. Bring a list of anything you take.

Sometimes, and the B12, C and D package exists for that reason.

What Else To Consider

Other treatments worth knowing about, and the skincare that keeps the result going once you are home.

Skincare That Actually Suits Your Skin

Shop-bought skincare is weaker for a reason. The professional stuff works, but the wrong active on the wrong skin does more harm than none at all, so she picks it after seeing your skin and orders it in for you.
