Filler Dissolve & Refill

If you have filler you are not happy with, it can be dissolved and, where it makes sense, replaced in the same appointment. Gemma does both herself.

What Dissolve And Refill Is

This treatment uses an enzyme to break down existing hyaluronic acid filler, and where suitable replaces it with a fresh, better-placed result in the same visit.

People come for this when previous work has migrated, settled unevenly, or simply never looked the way they hoped. Some come to have filler removed entirely and left at that, which is completely fine.

The dissolving agent is a prescription medicine, so a consultation and a full medical history are required before it can be used. Gemma will explain honestly what can and cannot be corrected.

A Good Fit If

  • Filler that never settled right
  • Work that has migrated
  • Wanting a clean slate
  • A correction done by a nurse

Not The Right Choice If

  • You cannot tell us what was originally used, though we can still assess
  • You expect lips to return exactly to how they were before filler
  • You want a refill on the same day, the area needs to settle

“So professional and friendly. The room was lovely, and the soft nurse’s touch so gentle that I did not bruise this time, which is a huge plus. My lips look amazing.”

  • Will it hurt?
  • Will I bruise?

The Things People Actually Ask

Straight answers to what comes up most before someone books.

Not Sure If It Would Suit You?

Message her on WhatsApp. She answers them herself.

Yes. A lot of this work is correcting treatment carried out elsewhere. Bring any information you have about what was used and when.

No. Some clients choose to dissolve and stop there. That is a perfectly good outcome and you will never be talked out of it.

It is a well-established treatment, but the dissolving agent is a prescription medicine and carries a small risk of allergic reaction, which is why a full medical history and a patch test where indicated are part of the process.

Often yes, though sometimes swelling means the refill is better done at a second visit. Gemma will advise on the day rather than rushing it.

It is not carried out during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and some allergies and conditions rule it out. The consultation exists to check this properly.

What Else To Consider

Other treatments worth knowing about, and the skincare that keeps the result going once you are home.

Skincare That Actually Suits Your Skin

Shop-bought skincare is weaker for a reason. The professional stuff works, but the wrong active on the wrong skin does more harm than none at all, so she picks it after seeing your skin and orders it in for you.
