Complaints And Concerns

If something has not gone the way you expected, here is how to raise it and what happens next.

Speak To Gemma First

Most concerns are resolved quickly by talking them through. Contact the clinic on 07879 186494 or at hello@nursegemma.co.uk and Gemma will discuss it with you directly.

If you have an urgent concern after treatment, contact the clinic straight away rather than waiting. For a medical emergency, call 999 or attend A&E.

Making A Formal Complaint

You can put a complaint in writing to hello@nursegemma.co.uk. Please include what happened, when, and what you would like done about it.

What Happens Next

  • Your complaint will be acknowledged within three working days
  • It will be investigated, including a review of your clinical records
  • You will receive a full written response within twenty working days
  • If more time is needed, you will be told why and given a new date

If You Are Still Unhappy

If you are not satisfied with the response, you can raise your concern with:

  • The Nursing and Midwifery Council, the regulator for registered nurses, at nmc.org.uk
  • The Royal College of Nursing, at rcn.org.uk
  • Trading Standards, through the Citizens Advice consumer helpline
  • The Information Commissioner at ico.org.uk, for anything about how your data has been handled

Learning From Complaints

Every concern is recorded and reviewed. Feedback is one of the ways the clinic improves, and raising something will never affect the care you receive.
