Photography And Images

How clinical photographs are taken and stored, and why consent to treatment is never consent to publish.

Clinical Photographs

Photographs may be taken as part of your clinical record, before and after treatment. These support assessment, help track results and are an important part of managing any complication.

They form part of your notes and are held in line with the privacy policy.

Marketing Images

Photographs are only ever published where you have given separate written consent for that specific purpose. Consenting to treatment does not consent to publication, and you will never be asked to agree to both together.

Withdrawing Consent

You can withdraw consent for the use of your images at any time and without giving a reason. Images will be removed from the website and from social media as soon as practically possible.

Withdrawing consent has no effect on your care.

Honest Images

  • Photographs are taken in the same position, lighting and framing before and after
  • No filters, smoothing or retouching is applied
  • Results shown are the client’s own and are not stock or manufacturer images
  • Timeframes and the number of sessions are stated alongside the images

Your Own Photographs

You are welcome to take your own photographs at any point. Please do not photograph other clients or anything that could identify them.
